Inspired by a picture taken by a friend. The goal was to make an atmospheric black metal album cover based on the photo. What resulted from a quick and dirty photoshop is the single released here. Seems like everything is Tolkien inspired in one way or another.

Here's to 2022, hopefully it's less crap than last year.

The stench of decay

The stagnant waters become
your breath, your food , your purpose

Seeking forgiveness within the lake
A thousand graves unmarked
Forgotten, unforgiven
Soon you'll join our ranks

Take the plunge, become one with our knowledge
For we all have a story to tell in these dead waters.
